Travel by bus/tram:

People arriving at Manchester Piccadilly or Victoria should make their way to Piccadilly Gardens and take one of the following buses: 14, 16, 41, 42, 43, 43a, 44, 45a, 48, 111, 140, 142, 157, 250 (the blue ‘Magic Buses’ are the cheapest option).

People arriving at Manchester Oxford Road can take the following buses from the stop outside the Palace Hotel (again, the blue ‘Magic Buses’ are the cheapest option): 15, 18, 38, 41, 42, 42a, 43, 44, 53, 111, 141, 142, 143, 147, 157, 191, 197, X41, X57.

Those arriving at Manchester Airport can take 43a or 45a.

For anyone travelling through Liverpool John Lennon Airport, there is a direct coach service from the airport to Manchester city centre with Terravision.

There are a Travelodge, an Ibis, and a Holiday Inn all within a 10-15 minute walk of the campus and all reasonably priced.

More upmarket hotels include the Palace and the Midland (very near to Oxford Road Station and the University), and the Macdonald (next to Piccadilly Station and 20-25 minutes away from the campus).
